• Radiologic Technologist assesses patient needs through rapport and ensures radiology equipment functionality, reporting issues to supervisors.
• Responsible for producing high-quality radiographs by following standards, adjusting techniques, and maintaining safety protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients properly, acquiring images while adhering to ALARA principles for radiation safety.
• Ensures a safe, clean environment by complying with infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA policies.
• Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing education in line with ARRT standards.
• Requires minimum 1 year of experience, certification (ARRT-R), Kansas LRT license, and BLS certification; preferred 3+ years and an advanced degree in Radiologic Science.
