Network Engineer

Job Title:- Network Engineer Location:- Spring Texas (On-Site) Job Type:- Long Term Contract Need someone who resides in the Houston/Greater Woodlands/Spring Area.

Responsibilities: This team provides network infrastructure design, implementation, and support for company sites in Americas region for the Unconventional.

Some of the activities performed by the team include the implementation and support of network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless technology, and SD WAN solutions.

Required skills include problem solving, ability to work independently, and a very good knowledge of networking.

Excellent customer service and collaboration skills are also required for this role.

As part of this role, you will participate in a rotating on call support and be required to be at our Spring campus five days a week (hours could vary between 7 am and 6 pm). Technical Skills and Background?:? Minimum 5-year’s experience networking experience Deep understanding of network design and infrastructure Understanding of Network protocols such as BGP Understanding of general network concepts such as address space, subnet, protocol, routing, NSG, etc Knowledge of the various types of firewalls Desired experience working in Agile teams, using DevOps practices Desired automation and scripting skills
