Clinical Supervision & Staff Development - Provide clinical supervision to ABA instructors and RBTs, including training, ongoing support, and competency assessments. Evaluate BA interns and facilitate meetings to ensure high-quality implementation of ABA principles.
Behavioral Assessment & Planning - Conduct functional behavioral assessments and/or analyses, communicate findings to stakeholders, and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support student success.
Instructional Collaboration - Partner with Special Education Teachers and the instructional team to develop teaching plans and deliver a multidisciplinary program that meets the diverse needs of students.
Parent & Home Support - Attend home visits to offer parent training, support, and home program development, ensuring consistency across environments.
IEP & Goal Development - Assist in writing behavioral goals and objectives for student IEPs and contribute to functional and developmental assessments in collaboration with the educational team.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting - Develop progress reports related to behavioral goals, BIPs, and home programs. Analyze and graph data to inform decision-making and present findings to the Internal Review Board as needed.
Training & Certification - Provide initial, refresher, and recertification trainings in physical management techniques, as designated by the Clinical Coordinator and Chief Administrator. Qualifications:
Master's Degree
BCBA Certification. If certification has not yet been obtained but the person has met the qualifications
to sit for the exam, the individual may hold this position as an Interim BA (reduced salary) under the
close supervision of an individual who does hold the certification.
Receive and maintain trainer training in the core curriculum for crisis management at the chief
administrator's discretion.
Receive and maintain supervision training to provide support and oversight for board certification
candidates as well as registered behavior technicians.
