Position Summary:
As a DOW Technologies Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind supporting the Custom Integration Sales Team. You will work closely with customersboth remotely and in personto understand their needs, provide tailored product recommendations, and support them with everything from order processing to technical insights. You'll build strong relationships with customers, make outbound calls to prospects, and help guide dealers to solutions that make sense for their businesses. You'll also assist with research, sales logistics, and occasional support at our distribution counter. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about tech, thrives in a team setting, and is eager to grow their career in the audio/video and custom integration space.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales & Customer Engagement
Conduct outbound calls to prospects and existing dealers from curated call lists.
Recommend appropriate products and services through consultative selling techniques.
Support the CI Sales Team by researching leads, qualifying prospects, and following up on sales opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with dealers, providing ongoing product recommendations and guidance.
Seek opportunities to upsell or add-on relevant solutions based on customer needs.
Customer Experience & Knowledge Development
Confidently support customers navigating DOW's digital tools, including the website and dealer dashboard.
Maintain a deep understanding of DOW's product offerings, programs, and promotions.
Proactively stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and training resources provided by DOW.
Respond to inquiries and service call queues with professionalism and urgency.
Branch & Travel Flexibility
Provide on-site support at the local branch as needed, including helping with Will-Call orders and warehouse coordination.
Process in-person and remote orders through the Will-Call/Pick-Up desk and web platforms.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter and product display area.
Ability to travel for trade shows, customer visits, or company events, including overnight stays.
Qualifications:
13 years in sales, customer service, or supportpreferably in consumer electronics, custom integration, or related fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a team environment.
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging in consultative sales conversations.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new product categories quickly.
High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in business or AV/technology preferred.
Ability to travel periodically as needed.
