Drive innovation in genome modification techniques and develop cutting-edge tools for therapeutic advancements.
Advance research in prime, base editing and additional technologies, focusing on generating in vitro and in vivo models of genetic diseases.
Conducting in vitro cell culture-based experiments, such as expansion and transgene expression in immortalized cell lines, mouse ES cells and iPSC Performing a variety of assays including, PCR, qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, and Western blots Managing in vivo mouse models and performing basic injections (intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intravenous) and tissue dissections Requirements PhD and 0 - 2 + years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field or a BS / MS and 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
Deep understanding of molecular and cell biology, as well as expertise in genome editing technologies and in vivo work Must have extensive experience in molecular biology and CRISPR technology (preferred) Expertise in molecular techniques (cloning, PCR, Western Blot, ELISA and related techniques, Sequencing), cell culture (mouse ES cells, immortalized cells, iPS preferred), flow cytometry, delivery methods (transfection, viral transduction, electroporation) and in vivo work (mouse – injections, tissue collections and related analysis) is required.
