Pallet Rebuilder

Overview: In our recycle department and as a Pallet Rebuilder, you will performing all sorts operators related our recycled pallets including building, repairing, dismantling, cutting, stacking, and more. You will use tools and equipment safety to help assist you in your job.

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

Build new and used pallets

Repair and dismantle pallets

Cut wood and stack properly according to pallet facility guidelines

Sort and stack according to guidelines and work instructions

Organize pallets and recognize reparable and non-repairable pallets

Operate all shop tools and equipment such as Pallet Dismantler, Table Saw, Chop Saw, Pneumatic Nail Gun, Pallet Jack, Hand Tools (wrenches, screw driver, etc.)

Log all work done completed to turn into supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Knowledge of hard wood and soft wood a plus, but not required

Ability to work with a variety of people such as customers and other departments/staff within the company

Must be able to read and write.

Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical computations

Experience in proper loading, unloading and strapping techniques.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Be able to understand and follow all the safety requirements of OSHA
