Digital Health Solutions Analyst Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Digital Health Solutions Analyst for a contract position in Maple Grove, MN.

The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: We seek a Digital Health Solutions Analyst to lead hospital connectivity infrastructure evaluation and conduct strategic technology assessments for a major research and development project.

This individual will bring forth essential insights to support the development of a scalable and secure medical device connectivity strategy, working independently and with minimal direction.

You will use your technical and collaboration skills alongside your passion for innovation and digital health to help drive our product development forward.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Drives complex or client assignments requiring strategic research and analysis of healthcare integration technologies and hospital connectivity.

Provides new insights and guidance to product and technology teams to inform strategic decision making.

Leads evaluation of third-party vendors offering EMR interoperability and integration services.

Define vendor assessment criteria, including data security, HIPAA compliance, scalability, cost, technical support, and customer success.

Delivers recommendations on the feasibility and soundness of alternative technologies and processes.

Coordinates, manages, and documents goals and progress, and recommends appropriate communications Interfaces with third-party technology vendors, Physicians/Cath Lab, and Hospital IT personnel to identify needs and to obtain feedback on concepts and performance of new devices, and to translate customer needs into product concepts.

Demonstrates Product and Technology Development system knowledge through coaching and delivering high-quality, high-impact deliverables.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, or a related field.

Or a master's degree in health informatics, Information Systems.

5+ years of experience in medical device R&D, healthcare IT, or clinical systems analysis.

Proven expertise in enterprise system integrations and development of connected digital health products.

Experience conducting vendor assessments and managing RFP/RFI processes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Preferred:Understanding of EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM). Experience with large hospital networks or integrated delivery networks (IDNs). Familiarity with security frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, and NIST.

Understanding of HIPAA regulations and requirements for handling sensitive data Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Working knowledge of wireless networking (Wi-Fi 6, VLAN segmentation, etc.). If this job is a match for your background, we would be honored to receive your application!
