Senior Full Stack developer in Washington, DC US Citizens

Introduction: Federate Systems Corp.

is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise on Java / Python & Web interfaces development.

Selected candidate will support one of our Federal clients in Washington, DC.

This position is open for US Citizens only.

Required Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Systems Analyst or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions.

Proficiency in programming languages including Python and Java.

Experience developing and maintaining web interfaces utilizing modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or similar). Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including database modeling, SQL querying, performance tuning, and data migration.

Experience gathering and documenting system requirements, creating system specifications, and performing impact analyses.

Familiarity with report automation methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
