Field Engineer

Filed Engineer Location: Throughout USA/Remote Duration: Fulltime/Long Term Roles & Responsibilities: Turbine Controls Field Engineer Support execution of retrofit projects including installation, power up, and commissioning of one or more of the following: Turbine control solutions (GE MarkVIe / MarkVI / MarkV control systems), HMI upgrades, and TIL implementation.

Generator Controls Field Engineer Support execution of retrofit projects including installation, power up, and commissioning of one or more of the following: Excitation control solutions (EX2100e, EX2100, EX2000 DFE), Static Starter control solutions (LS2100, LS2100e), HMI upgrades, and TIL implementation Common duties for each of the above: Work closely with project managers, customers, and supplier representatives to ensure financial performance, quality project installation, timeliness, and customer satisfaction Timely completion of service time sheets, trip reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements including pre-mobilization and de-mobilization meetings and procedures Minimum 5 years of field engineering experience in power generation, industrial plant automation, DCS (distributed control system), PLC (programmable logic controller) and/or similar industry sectors.

Previous industrial field service experience.

Controls experience to equipment that functions as a prime mover.

Electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills.

Computer skills, familiarity with MS Office
