Scientist II

Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month contract opening for a Scientist II to join a large pharmaceutical company for a position operating out of West Point, PA.

Pay: $48 - $53/hr, based on experience Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship Duties: • Carry out standard operating procedures involving basic laboratory techniques, operation of laboratory equipment and record keeping necessary to a research laboratory.

• Responsible for E-notebook records.

Education: Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in life science related fields with at least 4 years of lab experience.

Skills: • Requires at least 2 year experience in the application of Molecular Biology laboratory techniques in industrial or academic settings.

• Experience in the use of basic laboratory techniques, including ELISA, DNA extraction, PCR, Nucleic acid gel electrophoresis, cloning, restriction enzyme digests, transformations, etc.
