Plastic Injection Molding Supervisor (Tier 1 Automotive)- Relo Sumter

Pacific Technical Resources, LLC IT/Engineering Recruitment Professionals “Helping to Build Great Companies and Great Lives” Pacific Technical Resources, LLC is seeking a direct hire experienced Plastic Injection Mold Supervisor (Tier 1) for a well respected Medical manufacturing company in Sumter South Carolina This is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world.

Responsible for supervising all aspects of manufacturing at our injection molding facility in Sumter, SC on a 3-2-2-3-shift.

Must be willing to work either day or night shift & flexible to work outside of normal schedule as needed.

The position will be responsible for 97 injection presses 11) Proven track record reducing waste & driving Safety.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree preferred (desired) 4+ years experience in injection molding required Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment or Tier 1 Automotive strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of plastics injection molding processes desired.

Previous experience as a supervisor leading 20 or more employees 2 yrs required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Ability to travel occasionally (Demonstrated leadership abilities including team building, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.

Knowledge & experience of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies.
