We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Sr. Architect Lead to join our team in Austin, Texas! We’re experiencing sustained growth and looking for a Senior Architect with proven leadership and business development skills to take the helm of our architecture group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a team that is at the forefront of our industry. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading our architectural team, developing new business strategies, and coordinating with other teams to meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Municipal, Commercial, and Contracting sectors, with a keen eye for design and a proven track record in leadership roles. As a multi-discipline firm providing architectural, civil, landscape, surveying and permitting services, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious leader.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Architect Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring our team of architects, ensuring the highest quality of work is delivered on all projects.
Developing and implementing new business strategies to enhance our market position and profitability.
Overseeing the design process, from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring all designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
Coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Providing expert advice on Municipal, Commercial, and Contracting projects, using your extensive knowledge to drive success.
Managing project schedules, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate any risks.
Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, ensuring all parties are kept up-to-date with project progress.
Education/Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 15 years' experience in a senior architectural role, with a focus on Municipal, Commercial, and Contracting sectors.
At least 3 years of experience Managing a Team Directly or Managing people on a Project (Project Lead) - proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success.
Strong business development skills, with a track record of developing and implementing successful strategies.
Working knowledge of Revit or related design software - Exceptional design skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create innovative and functional designs.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage schedules and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a range of audiences.
