Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods.
Pay Rate: $19Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse.
Load and unload materials from trailers and rail cars.
Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped.
Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors.
Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counting and reconciliation.
Adhere to strict safety, quality, and warehouse production standards.
Utilize warehouse equipment such as scanners, vocollect, and pallet jacks.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
6 months to 1 year of forklift experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver's license.
Flexible to work weekends and overtime as needed.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Safety conscious and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coventry, Rhode Island.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
