Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join Franklin, Park medical manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience working with various fabrication tools and techniques. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that components are manufactured to precise specifications and quality standards. Some experience with welding and warehouse fabrication. This position is temp to hire, night shift, start $23.00 per hour. Schedule: Night Shift (3rd shift Monday through Friday, OT approved by supervisors)
Duties
Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to fabricate components.
Operate various power tools and machinery including plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and welding tools.
Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to assemble parts.
Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and troubleshoot any issues that arise during fabrication.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience using power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and welding techniques is essential.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
