An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to contribute to the educational journey of elementary students in a dynamic setting. This full-time contract position focuses on providing essential munication support to 2, 3rd grade students from August 8th to May 22nd.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate effective munication between teachers and students using sign language.

Interpret academic content and instructions in a clear and accessible manner.

Provide individualized support to students based on their specific needs.

Collaborate with educational staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

Attend meetings and professional development sessions to enhance interpreting skills.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications:

Certified Sign Language Interpreter with a valid certification.

Proven experience working with children, preferably in an educational context.

Excellent munication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
