Job Description

Must Haves:

At least 1-3 years of experience working as a patient access specialist or similar role

Prior experience verifying insurance through EMR system

Hands on experience utilizing EPIC

Prior experience handling patient referrals

Proven professional ability to be patient-facing

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

High School Diploma

Covid-19 Vaccinated

Plusses:

Experience working within orthopedics

Experience in an outpatient setting

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join the team of an outpatient center located in Manhattan! This individual should have experience interacting with patients, collecting copayments, completing clerical duties, and registering patients. Patients will be coming into this clinic for X-Ray, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physician visits which the right candidate will be trained on. This person needs to be sharp and professional as they are the first impression of the outpatient center! This person must be self-sufficient, eager to learn and reliable. He/she will be joining an organization with great culture, leadership, and promotional opportunity. Hands-on training will be provided.

Shift: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm
