Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize patient files and charts, including setting up new patients in relevant software applications.
• Ensure the secure release of protected health information in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and confidentiality standards.
• Proactively monitor charts, applications, and services to ensure data accuracy and system availability.
• Provide support to staff in resolving chart maintenance issues and troubleshooting related concerns.
• Assist staff and patients by addressing questions and providing guidance on medical records and documentation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in periodic audits and reviews of medical charts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain interdepartmental partnerships and effective communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and functions, including accounts payable and budget processes.
• Experience with health-related administrative office tasks and procedures.
• Strong understanding of medical record confidentiality and compliance regulations.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support teamwork and customer service.
