Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cost Accountant to join our team in Leland, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and analyzing financial data to support effective decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and experience with various financial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze cost trends to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare detailed reports using tools like Crystal Reports to support financial planning and analysis.

• Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budget processes and monitor cash flow activities.

• Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

• Utilize ERP systems, such as Epicor, to streamline accounting functions and improve efficiency.

• Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

• Review and analyze financial data to ensure alignment with organizational goals.• Proven experience working with accounting software systems, including ERP platforms like Epicor.

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.

• Solid understanding of accounts payable, auditing, and general accounting principles.

• Familiarity with budget planning and cash flow management processes.

• Experience in utilizing ADP or similar financial services tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
