Job Description

Our Healthcare client is seeking a dedicated Network Technician with extensive experience in managing and maintaining Cisco routers and switches. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work for a leading healthcare provider in the Milford/ Worcester MA area. They will have an opportunity to be a part of growing out a new team internally. In addition to the importance of this role for the client, the candidate will gain experience on the latest and greatest technology as well as have a heavy hand in the decision making as it relates to updates & upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

-Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers and switches.

-Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

-Implement and manage network security measures.

-Collaborate with IT team members to support network-related projects and initiatives.

-Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.

-Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment.

-Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.

-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment:

On site within the datacenter in Milford MA and occasionally Worcester MA
