Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of critical insurance systems, ensuring seamless integration and effective project delivery. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with a strong background in project management and system implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of insurance-related systems, including workbenches and policy administration platforms.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, technical teams, and business units to align project goals.

• Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to track progress and manage workflows.

• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance team collaboration and project efficiency.

• Oversee the integration of CRM and ERP systems to support business operations.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices during system deployment.

• Conduct regular project status updates and resolve any challenges that arise.

• Collaborate with cloud technology teams to optimize system performance and scalability.

• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.• Proven experience managing insurance system implementations, including policy admin systems and workbenches.

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Atlassian Jira.

• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project environments.

• Familiarity with CRM, ERP systems, and cloud technologies.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines in complex projects.

• Knowledge of industry standards and practices in the insurance sector.

• Experience with IBM systems and other enterprise technologies is a plus.
