Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to both desk-side and remote users, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Set up and configure new user accounts, including installing necessary applications on laptops.
• Deliver remote support services, addressing technical challenges for off-site employees.
• Assist with LAN setup and gain hands-on experience configuring switches under guidance.
• Manage hardware and software troubleshooting to maintain optimal system performance.
• Take initiative in prioritizing and addressing critical tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with the IT team to learn and implement Systems Administration and Network Administration practices.
• Support Active Directory management and backup technologies to safeguard data integrity.
• Contribute to a dynamic work environment by taking on diverse technical responsibilities.• At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Windows desktop operating systems, and ITIL processes.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, LAN setup, and networking concepts.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop advanced technical skills.
• Experience with remote support tools and troubleshooting for off-site users.
• Knowledge of router and switch configurations; experience with Meraki or Unifi switches is a plus.
• Understanding of server virtualization technologies, such as Nutanix, is preferred.
