Office Operations Coordinator
Location: Pataskala, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (with Seasonal Adjustments) In-Office
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (reduced hours in winter)
Position Overview
Elite Pest and Termite Control is a small, locally owned business looking for a dependable and self-motivated Office Operations Coordinator to be the central hub of our daily operations. This is an in-office role ideal for someone who is confident working independently for extended periods, yet comfortable collaborating closely with ownership and team members.
You’ll enjoy a well-organized, modern office environment with standing desks, dual monitors, and a workspace designed for comfort and focus. We also keep a variety of healthy snacks available daily to help you stay energized.
The role includes a mix of administrative tasks, phone handling, and light routing/coordination work. Strong phone skills and office organization are essential, and experience with routing or dispatching is a plus. The pace of the work can vary, with downtime during slower seasons. Winter hours typically shift to part-time.
Key Responsibilities
· Answer and route incoming phone calls clearly and professionally
· Greet and assist visitors and clients in a friendly and organized manner
· Manage office email, mail, and package handling
· Maintain office calendars, appointments, and basic scheduling
· Perform data entry, filing, and routine administrative tasks
· Order and track office supplies; handle vendor communication
· Support company owners with various administrative tasks and small projects
· Assist with basic routing or dispatching as needed
· Keep the office clean, stocked, and client-ready
· Stay productive and self-directed during quiet periods
What We’re Looking For
· Strong phone communication skills are a must
· Experience in office administration, reception, or coordination roles
· Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
· Flexible with hours—especially during seasonal slowdowns
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems
· Highly organized with excellent time management skills
· Experience with routing, dispatching, or scheduling is a plus
· Friendly, team-oriented, and professional demeanor
Pay range is $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
