Marketing Content & SEO Specialist

Chicago Brands, the leading website and online marketing services provider to the health care industry, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Content & SEO Specialist to join our Chicago marketing team.

Role Overview

As a Marketing Content & SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for writing compelling, high-converting copy that aligns the voice and SEO strategy with our Chicago brands. Your work will resonate with our audiences and help drive traffic, boost brand visibility, improve our website’s search engine rankings, and engage users across various channels. Additionally, you'll leverage AI and SEO tools to enhance the quality and effectiveness of your content. Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Development for Marketing Campaigns

Plan, write, edit, and polish content for emails, landing pages, social media, and blogs to align with campaign goals for a portfolio of 3 brands

Collaborate with the Marketing Director to create content that speaks directly to our target audience.

Make sure all content uses the voice and style of each brand

Plan and Strategize Brand Content

Research our audience to create messages that truly resonate.

Work with the team to align content plans with broader campaign goals.

Keep a content calendar organized and on track so everything gets delivered on time.

Use analytics tools to measure how content performs and find ways to make it even better.

Optimize Website Content to Drive Conversions

Improve landing pages, forms, and calls-to-action to drive leads and boost campaign results.

Review website content regularly to ensure it fits with our marketing strategies.

Conduct keyword research and leverage SEO tools to analyze performance metrics to implement SEO best practices.

Develop & track SEO content

Work with the Marketing Director to define SEO content optimization plans for all 3 brands.

Use SEO content tools, such as Surfer SEO to develop content.

Track SEO keyword performance, utilizing tracking tools such as Ahrefs.

Team Collaboration

Partner with the marketing team, sales, and design teams to make sure our messaging fits together seamlessly.

Share ideas based on data to enhance future content and engagement.

Bring fresh ideas and creative suggestions to improve campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience

At least 3 years in content marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.

1+ year of SEO content optimization experience

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.

Familiarity with A/B testing tools and conversion optimization techniques.

Full understanding of SEO and keyword optimization.

Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SURFER SEO, Ahrefs, and others to analyze content.

Content Creation:

Exceptional planning, writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing campaign-related content.

Experienced in curating and refining AI-generated content for clarity and tone

Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple content deliverables, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.

Soft Skills:

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to align content with campaign objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

Experience with SEO content tools such as SurferSEO and performance tracking tools such as Ahrefs

Familiarity with marketing automation tools (ie Eloqua, Pardot, Hubspot, etc)
