As a Registered Nurse-ED, you will provide comprehensive care to a designated patient group, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills.
Ensure patient care is age-appropriate and meets clinical standards.
Maintain current RN licensure in Illinois and obtain required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, or equivalent within specified timeframes.
Accumulate credits on the Clinical Ladder for career advancement, with BSN preferred at higher levels.
Perform direct patient care, bedside procedures, and patient assessments, including triage, IV placement, and emergency interventions.
Assist with bedside procedures, forensic care, patient education, and documentation.
Communicate effectively with physicians and team members, ensuring safety and compliance, and contribute to departmental readiness.
Perform other duties as needed to support patient care and departmental operations.
