The Nurse demonstrates independent practice within a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while managing long-term plans and contingencies.
Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—adapting care to meet patient needs based on evidence-based practices.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, ensuring effective communication and education for patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, and accurately documents patient information.
Plans for patient throughput, discharge, and transfer to optimize flow, and oversees unit operations, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
Promotes a safe environment through adherence to safety practices, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Follows clinical policies, maintains health information documentation, and ensures proper use of medical equipment and order processing.
Requires a BSN (preferred), RN licensure, BLS, and certifications such as NCC EFM, STABLE, ACLS, and NRP within specified timeframes.
Experience in perinatal care or residency preferred; work schedule is 7 PM – 7 AM, full-time role.
Full Time
