**Job Description**
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling mechanical units at workstations using engineering specifications. Your role will involve working with interrelated subassemblies and option packages, utilizing a wide range of hand and power tools. The position requires a strong understanding of blueprints and product knowledge.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble mechanical support assemblies to specifications.
+ Identify and assemble all parts accurately.
+ Apply proper sealing procedures for all products.
+ Read data plates and know motor sizes.
+ Conduct plumbing and electrical work on units.
+ Familiarity with knock down packing and crating.
+ Install special accessories on units, understanding their function and installation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in construction or mechanical work in a manufacturing facility.
+ Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing facility. The noise level is loud, requiring hearing protection. Most work is indoors, but exposure to weather elements through large bay doors is possible. Steel toe or composite toe boots are required, along with PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and arm shields provided by the company.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.66 - $19.66/hr.
