The Desktop Support Technician will report to the Site Manager and possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Microsoft network administration, support, troubleshooting, and design Matrix Global Services (MGS) is a customer focused IT services company in business since 2001. With a vertical specialty in the healthcare sector, MGS is searching for proven Desktop Support Technicians with the professionalism, drive, and experience to cover staffing needs for 2-3 months.
Responsibilities Include:
Troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues from the desktop to the firewall
Executing scheduled maintenance and administration tasks
Documenting and testing all work to maintain high level of solution quality
Protecting client data and adhering to all client regulatory obligations
Working with the Account Management and the Project Management team to manage customer expectations, deliverables, and satisfaction.
Identifying and communicating client requirements to the Director of Operation and Account Manager
Planning, executing, and implementing hardware and software projects
Professional Requirements:
· 5+ years’ experience as PC Support Tech
Healthcare IT and/or SMB experience a plus
Excellent customer service attitude
Ability to operate independently with limited supervision and a strong work ethic
Ability to engage with customers, partners, and colleagues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
24 x 7 availability to respond to emergency situations
Time management and superior problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to team with others to develop and implement complex projects.
Industry Certifications preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Knowledge of all technical layouts:
· Networking, network design and network security experience.
· Experience with a broad range of security products such as Firewalls, AV, VPNs, Authentication, Content Filtering, etc. in a variety of network implementations.
