We are seeking a highly skilled Planner to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Our client, a prominent government-supporting shipbuilding company, specializes in the construction of small crafts/boats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, yachting, or DoD planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage construction schedules for small craft projects.
Plan and oversee the construction process, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with subcontract vendors to ensure seamless integration of components and services.
Provide detailed construction plans, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, yachting, or DoD planning.
Strong understanding of small craft construction and the ability to manage projects.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work effectively with subcontract vendors and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in creating and managing BOM and IMS.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
