Controls Engineer (Tech Transfer)

Our client is a Medical Device manufacturer. They are currently undergoing a technical transfer incoming to one of their existing sites. The site is not strong in their expertise with Controls/Mechatronics Engineering and are in need of assembling a team that will support these transfer activities.

The ideal candidate comes from a Mechatronics/Controls Engineering background, primarily in the Medical Device industry. Experience with production support, equipment qualification & maintenance, solving problems the production team cannot, etc. would be beneficial to success in this role. There may be some work tied to continuous improvement in addition to the transfer activities. Understanding how to determine bugs in software, or whether or not an issue is hardware or software related may come up. This person should have experience with structured text PLC programming, working on controls platforms and PLCs etc.

This person needs to be a strong communicator, well organized and have the ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.

Required:

5-7+ years Medical Device

5-7+ years Controls/Automation/Mechatronics Engineering

5-7+ years working with Automation tools (preferably TwinCat or similar)

Familiarity & project experience with PLC, NC, CNC and/or Robotics systems
