We have been exclusively retained to identify a dynamic Warehouse Leader. This role will be based in Georgia and includes some travel.

Our client is a s well-established logistics and warehousing company, with a strong industry reputation, is seeking a Warehouse Leader to drive operational excellence across multiple locations in multiple states. This role is pivotal in optimizing processes, advising warehouse teams, and ensuring the efficient storage and deployment of critical equipment for a key client—one of North America’s largest data center builders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and multi-site management. They will be responsible for implementing best practices, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining seamless coordination between warehouse operations and project execution. Strong influencing skills and the ability to present insights and updates to executive stakeholders will be key to success in this role.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Leader to drive warehousing and logistics excellence across their multiple locations in multiple states. This newly created role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless storage, management, and deployment of critical build equipment for their clients—one being a major company that constructs data centers across North America.

The Warehouse Leader will establish and optimize processes, influence and guide Warehouse Managers, and implement best-in-class logistics strategies to ensure that all stored equipment is delivered on time to job sites when projects commence. This leader must be highly skilled in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and process development to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

This role also requires exceptional communication and presentation skills, as they will provide weekly reports and updates to client procurement executives, ensuring transparency and alignment on project timelines and inventory management. The Warehouse Leader will play a pivotal role in strengthening our client’s reputation for excellence in logistics, supporting the company’s continued growth and ability to serve high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, and overseeing best-in-class warehousing and logistics processes to ensure seamless storage, tracking, and deployment of equipment across multiple locations.

Maintaining accurate inventory control systems, ensuring all equipment is properly logged, tracked, and readily available for deployment to project sites.

Establishing and enforcing standardized warehouse procedures and operational efficiencies across all their locations, optimizing workflows and minimizing delays.

Providing strong leadership and guidance to warehouse managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.

Preparing and presenting detailed reports and updates to client procurement executives, ensuring transparency in logistics operations and inventory management.

Ensuring all warehousing and logistics activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.

Leveraging warehouse management systems and other technology to enhance visibility, tracking, and reporting capabilities.

Working closely with clients, procurement teams, project managers, and site teams to coordinate deliveries and ensure project readiness.

Traveling to at least one warehouse location per month to assess operations, provide hands-on leadership, and address any challenges in real time.

Delivering clear, concise, and professional presentations to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned on logistics operations.

Education and Certification/License Credentials

A degree is not required; however, extensive experience in warehousing, logistics, and inventory management is essential. Proven leadership in multi-site operations is highly desired.

Functional Competencies

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices across multi-site locations is required.

Proven ability to create, implement, and refine processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.

Strong ability to lead, mentor, and influence warehouse managers and teams to drive accountability, consistency, and high performance.

Experience managing large-scale inventory systems, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and reconciliation of stored equipment.

Ability to analyze logistics data, generate reports, and present key insights to clients and internal stakeholders to support decision-making.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and professional presentations to executive-level clients.

Ability to assess challenges, develop solutions, and make critical decisions that enhance warehouse and logistics operations.

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and other logistics technologies to drive efficiency.

Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects across different locations.
