We are a medium size, very busy law firm located in the City of Snohomish expanding our Probate Team. We currently have 2 full and 1 part time paralegals dedicated entirely to probate and need one more. We are looking for a qualified, energetic and competent paralegal. You must be detail oriented, have pride in your work product and prioritize client service.
The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years Washington State probate experience and have a working knowledge of the court procedures for King and Snohomish county. Working knowledge and experience in, GAL and SGAL procedures a plus. You need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients taking into account their often fragile emotional state in dealing with probate matters. The ability to multi task while maintaining attention to detail and organizational skill is a critical element to this position. You will open probates, get letters of administration, gather documentation, schedule hearings and client meetings with the attorneys, draft pleadings, organize creditor claims, prepare annual reports and close probates.

Initially it will be an in person position until you get accustomed to our systems and procedures. In many cases, we may allow remote work one or two days a week which will depend on your productivity and abilities to function efficiently while working remotely. Compensation is based on productivity
