About this role

Adaptiva is looking for an experienced Product Design Manager to join our team and help us shape the future of our products. The Director of Product Design will own the creative vision and the design of standards across the product design team and will be working closely with our Product Management and Development teams.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the existing product portfolio.

Lead, manage, and mentor the product design team.

Implement and manage the design delivery process.

Improve cross-discipline collaboration methods, especially between design and engineering.

Lead design projects from concept to launch, ensuring all deadlines and budgets are met.

Communicate effectively and objectively (data-driven) with the rest of the senior management team.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Senior Product/UX Designer.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to understand complex use cases and technical concepts.

Background in IT or computer science is a huge plus.

Design portfolio required.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $170,000 – $185,000.The range provided is broad and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, location, and other business needs.

The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a performance bonus and very generous benefits.
