Azure CI/CD Engineer / Automation and Pipeline focused / Full Time Salary
Optomi in partnership with our client, is undergoing a large-scale transformation as part of a recent divestiture, building out a brand-new Azure cloud platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly visible initiative from day one, shaping how cloud infrastructure supports clinical applications used to directly impact patient care.

What You’ll Do
Help build and mature a new Azure landing zone from the ground up
Support the migration of clinical applications and services to Azure
Lead cloud architecture discussions with app teams—what services to use, what practices to avoid, how to modernize effectively
Partner with DevOps and Infra teams to design scalable CI/CD workflows and container-based platforms
Contribute to a long-term modernization initiative focused on containerization and microservices
Lead the strategy and execution for future Disaster Recovery exercises
Work with FinOps teams on cost optimization and forecasting
Influence culture and cloud maturity across the org—be a go-to voice for why cloud is done the way it should be
Must Haves
Azure Cloud Expertise – 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying secure, scalable, and highly available solutions using Azure core services: VMs, Azure Storage, SQL DB, Functions, VNets, CDN, and AAD.
Infrastructure as Code – Proficiency with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep; strong understanding of IaC principles and best practices.
Automation Skills – Track record of automating deployments and workflows using Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitLab Runners, or Azure Automation.
Cloud Networking Knowledge – Deep familiarity with DNS, VPNs, load balancers, Azure Firewall, NSGs, and ExpressRoute configurations.
Strong Communication & Leadership – Able to educate app teams on how cloud-native development works, what tools to use, and why it matters. Can lead with influence, not just code.
