Role Overview: Seeking an experienced trader to execute and optimize fixed income strategies, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role involves executing fixed income trades, optimizing execution costs, and developing data-driven trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute and manage fixed income trades, ensuring efficient execution and cost optimization.
Develop data-driven trading strategies, leveraging quantitative analysis and market insights.
Maintain and expand relationships with brokers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and evolving market standards.
Collaborate with senior management, portfolio managers, and technology teams to enhance trading platforms and processes.
Identify and recommend investment opportunities, monitoring market conditions for advantageous trades.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services.
Must possess a Green Card or U.S. citizenship.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quantitative focus.
Proven ability to implement changes within an organization.
Ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience as a Trader is advantageous.
Relevant certifications CFA, CPA.
Fluency in English and Portuguese, both spoken and written.
Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes in the financial markets of Brazil and the United States.
MBA and/or CFA are appreciated but not mandatory.
