Structural Engineer – Precast Concrete (Civil/Structural Engineering)

What You’ll Do

Design and oversee civil engineering projects across Industrial, Environmental, Storm Water, and Marine sectors.

Perform rebar design and structural engineering calculations for custom precast concrete components.

Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, CAD designers, estimators, contractors, and clients to meet project goals.

Support fabrication and installation by working directly with production and manufacturing teams.

Prepare and review detailed project documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Stay current on trends in precast concrete, engineering technologies, and construction practices.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months); PE preferred but not required.

Hands-on experience with precast concrete and structural design.

Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clear communicator, self-starter, and dependable under pressure.

Previous internship or work experience in structural engineering or precast design is a plus.
