About the Role

We're looking for a forward-thinking Chief Mechanical Engineer to lead quality control for mechanical design projects across diverse sectors including life sciences, mission-critical, commercial, and industrial industries. Project Examples Include:

Solving dehumidification challenges at food production facilities

Designing advanced cleanrooms for pharmaceutical environments

Driving energy efficiency improvements for large-scale data centers

Engineering redundant systems for mission-critical infrastructure

Designing commercial office buildings for major corporations

Key Responsibilities:

Lead quality control efforts for all mechanical design projects, including initial planning, milestone reviews, and final approvals before permit and construction submissions

Establish and uphold design standards for the Mechanical Division

Mentor and guide a team of skilled mechanical engineers

Promote and implement innovative solutions for complex engineering problems

Oversee all phases of mechanical engineering, from initial design to project closeout

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-performance design solutions

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory codes and industry standards

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience with 20+ years in the field)

At least 10 years of mechanical engineering experience with proven leadership in successful project execution

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

U.S. Citizenship required

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, systems, and applications

Experience across multiple industries is a plus-training provided for unfamiliar sectors

Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and communication skills

Strategic thinker with the ability to align engineering solutions with client goals

Proficiency in project management methodologies

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 (commensurate with experience)

Incentive pay for overtime hours
