Marketing Strategist Intern
(Summer 2025)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: June 2 - August 8 (10 weeks)
Compensation: $30/hr ( $12 000 total)
About ReTax360
ReTax360 is a white-labeled property-tax remediation platform serving law firms and municipalities. Our end-to-end SaaS automates lead sourcing, CRM workflows, and analytics to help clients identify and process tax-refund opportunities at scale. After rapidly generating some initial interest, we’re adding a Marketing Strategist Intern to own campaign execution, analytics, and organic growth-hacking.
Responsibilities
As our Marketing Strategist Intern, you’ll partner with our Tech and Sales leads to transform an existing strategy into a repeatable, data-driven engine. You’ll get hands-on experience with ad platforms, email tools, and analytics dashboards—and be empowered to recommend and run new channels.
Audit & Document Current Funnel
Map our existing demo signup conversion funnel across LinkedIn, email, and in-product touchpoints.
Campaign Planning & Execution
Build and manage LinkedIn ad campaigns (audience targeting, creative A/B tests).
Design and deploy email drip sequences via SendGrid or Mailchimp.
Develop social-media content calendars and collateral.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track CPL, CTR, MQL SQL conversion rates in Google Analytics.
Create weekly dashboards and present insights/recommendations to leadership.
Growth Experiments
Propose and run at least two “growth hack” experiments (e.g., referral incentives, co-marketing partnerships).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with our design intern to produce on-brand assets.
Coordinate with international development for landing-page A/B tests and tracking pixel integrations.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or related; recent graduates preferred.
Technical Skills:
Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, or Facebook Ads.
Comfort with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or equivalent).
Basic SQL or spreadsheet-based querying to slice campaign data.
Soft Skills:
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation ability.
Creative problem-solver with a data-driven mindset.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
Bonus:
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) or email tools (SendGrid, Mailchimp).
Any experience in B2B SaaS or professional services marketing/sales.
