My firm is currently working on a Proposal Writing/Bus Dev role working with Government and Federal Contracts Based in MA or DC
The company is a growing/stable tech company that provides advanced business consulting services. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, Government Contracts with success in developing and implementing capture plans for Federal/Government contracts.
You must have business development experience for a small business that works with the federal government. An established record of identifying and winning federal contracts; managing the proposal submission. You will be identifying and researching opportunities to fully self-developing RFIs and RFPs for submission to the government. This role will be targeting the Federal/Government to market, identify, develop, qualify and capture new business opportunities.
• Lead business development and client management efforts
• Analyze government marketplace to identify business opportunities
• Identify and establish relationships with key government agencies and decision makers
Requirements:
• Five years experience in developing and implementing plans federal government contracts that include strategic planning skills, proposal writing in response to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs
• Knowledge and experience of Federal & Defense Industry Contracting with an understanding of FAR / DFAR
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven track record in penetrating and closing contracts with federal agencies
Proficiency in Bid and Proposal, to include technical writing, pricing, and staffing is a must.
Able to pass a Federal background check
Experience with GovWin, FedBizOps, FedConnect, and/or similar systems
