Job Title: Robotics Sustaining and Operations Engineer
Location: Onsite - Fremont, CA
Duration: 12 months with possibility to extend

25 % of the work will include travel
Our client is looking for an experienced Robotics Sustaining and Operations Engineer to lead deployment operations and post-deployment field service process, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Must-Have Skills
Robotics Fleet Management: Proven ability to manage a fleet of robots, including troubleshooting and maintenance, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and productivity.
Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting: Strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and a track record of delivering effective solutions.
Operations Experience: Demonstrated experience in operations, including deployment and post-deployment field service process, with a focus on ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Data Analytics: Excellent data analytics skills, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive informed decision-making.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on building a high-performing team and driving business results.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Software Troubleshooting Capability: Experience in software troubleshooting, including coding and debugging.
Computer Science or Robotics Degree: Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or robotics.
Experience with Automation Technologies: Familiarity with automation technologies, including robotics systems and IoT devices.

Key Responsibilities
Lead robotics deployment operations and post-deployment field service process
Conduct quality control, failure analysis, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues
Design and implement solutions to improve product quality and reliability
Utilize data analytics skills and reporting tools to analyze and visualize findings, including statistical analysis, failure Pareto, issue prioritization, and fix schedule estimation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain technical documentation to support product sustaining and operations
Requirements
10+ years of industry experience in product quality control, product sustaining, field operations, product failure analysis, and continuous improvements
Strong hardware engineering background, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, sensors, motors, and other relevant technologies
Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution development
Excellent data analytics skills, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and reporting
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Strong communication and documentation skills
