An Insight Global client is seeking to hire a SCADA Control Technician in Phoenix, AZ. This will be hybrid onsite 2 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The DSCADA team plays a vital role in field device SCADA implementation within the SE ADMS system, working in a development environment through builder applications to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Day to Day:
Workflow Management: Oversee field device workflows to align with lab testing, construction releases, commissioning, and tracking closure tasks.
Point Mapping: Configure analog, binary, and calculated points for control windows and geo platforms.
Device Template Development: Manage and refine device templates to optimize system performance.
Oneline Support: Develop and maintain onelines, including autogenerated representations.
Work Prioritization & Coordination: Manage critical tasks and collaborate with the SCADA team to align work with project schedules.
Model Promotions: Facilitate transitions between environments to maintain system continuity.
Commissioning & Operations Support: Provide assistance during commissioning and address requests from the operations center.
Alarm Setup Management: Handle alarm configuration requests from operations and engineering teams.
DNP3 & Communications Addressing: Oversee DNP3 protocol configurations and communication addressing.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of SCADA Systems
Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical principals
Troubleshooting & Networking Experience
Plusses:
Has worked around or with substations
Has specifically worked with Schneider Electric
Compensation:
$37/hr to $55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
