HR Generalist - Entry Level
We are a well-established Home Decor Manufacturer based out of the U.K., seeking an entry level HR Generalist to join our winning team at our new American facility located in West Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have some basic experience in a Human Resources role preferably in manufacturing, warehouse and/or distribution, and will be seeking a long term career opportunity offering on the job training, mentorship and tons of room for growth.
You will be trained and actively involved in:
Recruitment and Staffing:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings,
reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers to
candidates.
Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and
ensure proper staffing levels in alignment with facility requirements.
Employee Relations:
Foster positive relationships between management and staff by addressing
employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and offering guidance on
workplace issues.
Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure a
productive and positive work environment.
Performance Management:
Assist in the implementation of performance evaluations, including
providing guidance on setting goals and conducting regular assessments.
Support managers in addressing employee performance issues and
implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Benefits Administration:
Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance,
retirement plans, and leave policies.
Educate staff on benefits offerings and assist with enrollment, claims, and
inquiries.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
Ensure that all HR processes comply with state and federal employment
laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., FMLA, ADA, OSHA, HIPAA).
Assist in maintaining employee records in compliance with legal
requirements and company policies.
Training and Development:
Support the development and delivery of training programs for staff on
topics such as safety protocols, employee policies, and best practices in
caregiving.
Assist managers with supporting employees develop professionally by
offering career development resources and performance improvement
Plans.
Onboarding and Orientation:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting
orientation sessions and introducing them to the facility culture.
Ensure all necessary paperwork, certifications, and training requirements
are completed prior to the employee’s first day.
Other HR Duties:
Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and tracking attendance.
Maintain confidential employee files and records in compliance with HIPAA
and other privacy regulations.
This is a long term career opportunity with a busy and growing organization, the starting base pay range is $55K-$60K plus benefits, incentives, and room for advancement.
