Day to Day:
Hunting candidates, sourcing using advanced Boolean searches
Sourcing process:
Take candidate from moment they open a req
Req is open by recruiter
Sourcer hunts and finds candidate
Sourcer sets up intake meeting
Work with HM and recruiting coordinator on this
Facilitate initial recruiter phone screen
If no phone screen, then setting up on-site meeting with HM and recruiter, submitting on-site request, push through RC
Conducting on-site meeting, debrief, offering candidate position is NOT their job.
Meeting with managers, senior managers, and directors - need to be able to communicate effectively. High visibility with directors and senior managers.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Must Haves:
5+ years of experience as a technical sourcing recruiter
Working on fungible SDE roles can be a selling point here
LinkedIn, CRM systems and other basic recruiter software knowledge.
Performance driven – 2 hires per month – not deterred by pressure of 2 per month
High communication skills verbal and written.
Strong Boolean search skills
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Pluses:
Knowing internal systems, internal tagging guidelines
Has an understanding of a wide variety of tech domains/job codes.
Strong tech sourcing skills, for hardware specialty and niche roles within SDE, TPM, and PMT
