About This Role
K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Development Hospitality Post Graduate Intern, which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months.
An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
Assist in managing preparation of all premium spaces for football season. Prepare and manage east club and suites for football gamedays. Assist in managing preparation of premium spaces for men’s and women’s basketball. Coordinate printing of season and gameday menus for football, basketball and baseball season.
Oversee, plan and prepare premium spaces for baseball gamedays. Manage communication and food/beverage orders with baseball premium ticket holders. Coordinate nameplate changes for suite and loge holders for football, basketball and baseball. Assist in planning and preparation of the Powercat Auction
Assist in executing and preparing external events, tours and photos on the field. Assist in hiring scheduling and training of Hospitality & Events Ambassadors (part-time employees).
Evening and weekend work is required as well as some travel
Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree at time of application
Experience working in athletics events and hospitality
Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Customer service experience
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign experience
Experience working in an NCAA Division 1 Athletics
Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range
$12.50 per hour (approximately $26,000 yearly estimate plus paid overtime) in the first year;
Potential to earn $14.00 (approximately $29,120 yearly estimate plus paid overtime) after completion of first year with a successful review and budget approval. Paid biweekly (26 pay periods).
