Description:This engineering aide position is within the Low Observable (LO) Materials team in Marietta, Georgia. This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required.
In this position, you will:
Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks to include:
• Work in a laboratory setting which requires the individual to utilize and maintain standard laboratory equipment and work spaces
• Adhere to lab safety practices, including use of a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Have a basic understanding of standard shop machinery
• Work with hazardous materials in the manufacturing of developmental products for engineering evaluation
• Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
• Maintain proper documentation of records and logs
• Maintain strict attention to detail including following written engineering direction
• Will be expected to work with both internal and external customers to meet deliverable timelines that can shift based upon priority level
Basic Qualifications:
High School Degree.
Experience with chemical testing.
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with a team.
Experience recording and reporting data to team or customers.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
