Pay Rate: $25-35/hr, based on experience level

Hours: 6am - 3:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS

Min 1 year experience of tube bending experience programming, setup & operating a CNC tube bender (company has Crippa brand)

Successful completion of a background check and drug test

High school diploma or equivalent required

Technical / vocational school diploma highly preferred

SKILLS

Blueprint reading

Container movement / router

Safety / lean manufacturing / continuous improvement

JOB Summary/Objective

The machine set-up tech ensure machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards

Essential Job Functions

Sets up and operates tools, machinery, and equipment according to instructions and specifications.

Selects, places, and secures tools.

Places and secures workpieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches.

Observes each machine to verify quality performance.

Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines performance.

Inspects tooling and repairs or replaces as needed.

Determine whether machinery is working properly based on specifications for expectation such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed rates

Report issues / problems to immediate supervisor

Act as department communicator during status meetings, management updates, and shift changes.

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Ensure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standards

Identify, tag and remove non-conforming materials

Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner

Communicate with other departments as necessary

Keep work areas clean and organized

Adhere to all company rules and policies

Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly required to stand and walk for approximately 10 hours / day.

The employee is occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee must frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 55 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
