Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) As a Field Service Representative I, you will support our customers through the on-site delivery of field services related to Calgon Carbon's activated carbon products, equipment, and service offerings.
This role plays a critical part in fulfilling our service agreements and providing excellent customer support in the field.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) * Schedule and document daily on-site activities using internal systems (FSWO database and work process) * Perform start-up, maintenance, and removal of carbon adsorption equipment * Conduct media removal and installation (carbon and other media) * Train customers on the operation of equipment using the O&M manual and company procedures * Troubleshoot and perform inspections and repairs on equipment * Adhere to all safety requirements and site-specific protocols Qualifications * High school diploma or GED is required * 2-3 years of experience in the carbon treatment industry or a related field is required * Valid driver's license required (Class A CDL preferred) * Confined Space Certification required (must be obtained within 3 months of hire) * HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification required (must be obtained within 3 months of hire) * TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required (must be obtained within 3 months of hire) * Previous experience in an industrial or field-based environment strongly preferred About Calgon Carbon At Calgon Carbon, we are scientific innovators with a proud legacy of over 80 years and more than 205 patents to our name.
