Inside Machinist

We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Machinist position in Chesapeake Virginia in a CLIMATE CONTROLLED SHOP!

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience operating milling machines, lathes, boring mills, and grinders

Must have ability to work with extremely close tolerances (example: .0005” to

.001”) and meet allotted timeframes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be willing to work overtime

Must be physically able to safely operate all equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing for long periods of time.

Job Duties entail but are not limited to:

Manufacture and make repairs per instructions and/or drawings

Operate all machine shop equipment

Operate overhead cranes and perform rigging

Perform incoming and outgoing inspections

Properly fill out all paperwork

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am

20% Night differential available!

Pay:

$20-$25/hour based on experience
