Entry Level Irrigation Tech

HireLevel is looking for a Entry Level Irrigation Tech. in the Evansville IN area.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors and have experience working with various types of lawn care equipment. Candidate will not have to drive to a shop or to the customer's property. They will only need to report to the office. From there the candidate will get picked up by the client and driven to the job site. At the end of the shift, the client will return the employee to the office.

Job Category: Landscape/ Lawncare Technician

Location: Evansville, IN.

Shift: Day Shift- Monday through Friday, some half days on Saturdays. Off on Sunday

Compensation:$15 / hour

Responsibilities of Landscape/ Lawncare Technician:

Employee must be able to withstand the Summer heat

Employee must meet at the HireLevel office each morning to start your shift

Sweep or use blower to clear walkway of debris.

Trim shrubs and pull weeds.

Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.

Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.

Be able to dig irrigation trenches for drain pipes

Operate hedge trimmers and other lawn care equipment

Requirements of Landscape/ Lawn Care:

Must be able to meet at HireLevel office at start of shift.

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. repetitively and push full wheel burrows up and down hills.

Ability to work in extreme heat/ direct sun.

Must have own personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Must have proper PPE: Steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Must meet requirements for drug screening and criminal background policies
