Qualifications:
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
7 years of power electronics - 3 phase power & power inverters (SiC and GaN )devices-based power converter design
Experience with Altium for Design of circuits for Perform power electronics (create schematic symbols and layout footprints, design schematic and layout, and create BOM)
Strong Design of Digital, analog and power electronic circuits, testing, and debugging
Matlab Simulink/PLECS/ LTSpice - Circuit simulation experience
Experience with DC/AC electronics load, DC/AC power sources, current and voltage probes -Power electronics test equipment
Preferred experience with Magnetics design
Create high density PCB layout with noise and EMI mitigation
Responsibilities:
Follow product roadmaps, define new platforms, and extend products for power inverters (DC/AC)
Prepare test reports, document outcomes of test results, provide next steps in test plans, and present to management
Evaluate project requirements
Act as a lead design engineer for power electronics products: initial planning stages through study, design, and test.
Lead, design, develop and test advanced power electronics, such as converters and inverters, using medium to high power switching (hundreds of kW) and protection and gating circuitry
Selecting active semiconductor switching devices & passive components for converter power circuits (capacitors, inductors, transformers, etc).
Lead verification testing on new designs and products
