Pay: $27+/hr + 15% Shift Premium

Shifts:

Primary Opening: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Flexibility: Must also be open to working 2nd Shift should 3rd shift be self-sustaining (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

About the Role

We’re currently hiring a skilled Tool & Die Maker for the 3rd shift. This is a hands-on, full-time opportunity supporting metal stamping operations in a high-paced automotive environment. We're looking for someone who can troubleshoot and maintain complex tooling to keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain transfer and line dies in and out of press

Operate tool room machinery with precision and efficiency

Support press setups and ensure tools are running to production requirements

Apply root cause analysis to solve problems and improve process performance

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Inspect product quality to ensure parts meet print specifications

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean)

Handle wastewater per environmental compliance guidelines

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in tool & die, metal stamping, or die maintenance

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, CMM data, and gaging

Hands-on experience adjusting dies based on inspection results

Familiarity with press operations and troubleshooting issues during production

Comfortable working with computers and machine control panels

Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 standards preferred

High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical school preferred
